Staff DevSecOps Engineer

As the technical owner of security integration in Trase's software development lifecycle and cloud operations, the full-time Staff DevSecOps Engineer will design and implement automated security testing and vulnerability management within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure coding practices while working remotely or from Seattle, WA or McLean, VA. Key Responsibilities Design and operate the shift-left security toolchain across CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, and IaC scanning Develop and deploy Trase's cloud security architecture, focusing on Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud environments Enhance incident response capabilities and lead technical security incident response efforts Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security roles Deep experience securing CI/CD pipelines and implementing security architectures in Google Cloud Platform Expert-level skills in Terraform and building secure-by-default infrastructure modules Hands-on experience with SIEM operations, including log source design and detection engineering Strong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python or Go
