Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.Practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education and treatment.Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.Education:• Bachelor's Degree: PreferredRequired Licenses/Certifications:Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: RequiredNurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: RequiredRegistered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: RequiredOR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: RequiredBenefits: Wage Scale: $126,080-- $189,121Salary based on experience.Starting BonusPerformance Based BonusCEU allowance plus 5 paid days for Full Time Employment.License, DEA, Board Certifications, Associations Fees allowanceStudent Loan Assistance Program (paid over 5 years)Malpractice coverage through Adventist HealthMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage through Adventist HealthPTO accrual per 80 hours worked and years of service.
