Supply Chain Buyer Mount Pleasant | Fully Onsite Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Initial 6-Month Assignment (Potential Extension up to 1 Year)We are seeking a Supply Chain Buyer with strong experience in procurement, fulfillment, material planning, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing purchase orders, supplier coordination, inventory optimization, and material availability in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.Key Responsibilities Create and manage purchase orders and purchase requisitions Respond to RFQs and support procurement execution activities Analyze pricing and negotiate with suppliers Track and expedite material deliveries to meet production timelines Maintain material master data and procurement plans in SAP Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and material availability Coordinate with suppliers to improve on-time delivery performance Support GRIR, invoice processing, Baseware, and payment follow-ups Perform stock transfers and inventory balancing activities Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, production, logistics, and service teams Escalate supplier issues when necessary and support supplier onboardingRequired Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Buying, Material Planning, Fulfillment, or Inventory Management Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Strong SAP or ERP system experience Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations Understanding of Incoterms and supplier expediting processes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage priorities with urgency and ownershipPreferred Background Candidates with experience in: Manufacturing or industrial environments Material planning and inventory optimization Supplier coordination and procurement operations Cross-functional supply chain collaboration
