Airline Hot Food Cook - PT

SkyCafe, a GAT Company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Hot Food Cook to support the preparation of high-quality airline meals in a fast-paced catering environment. This role is responsible for producing safe, consistent, and high-quality food in accordance with company standards, menu specifications, and daily production schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesFood ProductionPrepare and cook hot food items following established recipes, portion standards, and production schedulesPerform proper food handling procedures, including cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cookingCoordinate and support food storage activities, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) practicesMonitor daily material usage and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies to meet production demandsParticipate in airline menu presentations and updates as requiredReview and remain knowledgeable of catering manuals and procedures, updating as neededAssist with corrective actions related to customer feedback or quality concernsQuality, Safety & ComplianceMaintain strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations (including HACCP standards)Conduct quality control checks throughout the production processInspect incoming goods to ensure quality and specification complianceEnsure all meals meet established recipe and presentation standardsQualifications & Skills3–5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment, airline catering experience preferredCulinary apprenticeship or certification from a culinary school is a plusExperience with international menus is a plusStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)Understanding of food cost controls, inventory management, and waste reductionStrong communication and organizational skillsService-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaborativelyDemonstrated leadership skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Windows-based applicationsPosition DetailsJob Type: Part -TimeSkyCafe offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to a high-quality airline catering operation.
