You'll perform a variety of routine and preventive maintenance tasks, including HVAC inspections, plumbing repairs, and general property upkeep-helping ensure our communities remain safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for residents.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage repair and replacement of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and pool control systemsManage and complete work orders, unit turnovers, and coordinate contractors for estimates and approved workPerform routine and scheduled maintenance, including grounds care, common areas, trash and recycling, safety checks, and preventive maintenanceAssist with maintaining operating budgets for unit turnovers, repairs and maintenance (R&M), and capital expenditure (CapEx) projectsReport accidents, emergencies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediatelySupport additional properties in the assigned area as neededParticipate in the on-call rotation scheduleDemonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's core valuesPerform other duties as assignedAre You the Maintenance Technician We're Looking For?You'll thrive in this role if you're detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems.
