Maintenance Worker

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. This essential role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation of our facilities. Duties Conduct regular inspections of equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical components to identify potential issues before failure. Perform repairs on appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment utilizing schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and schematics. Execute preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime. Assist with installation, upgrades, and construction projects related to facility infrastructure. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and reporting. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repair or installation projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in commercial or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration technology. Experience in construction or facility maintenance is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and safety protocols.
