Autzu: Fleet Operations Manager – San FranciscoAutzu is building the operational infrastructure for the future of mobility — starting with electric fleets today and scaling toward autonomous vehicle deployments. We partner across the EV and AV ecosystem to deliver reliable, efficient fleet operations at scale. We’re looking for aFleet Operations Managerto relaunch and lead our San Francisco fleet hub (~30 Tesla/EV vehicles). This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for day-to-day operations, vendor management, and ensuring the fleet is fully optimized, clean, and ready for drivers. What You’ll Do: Own end-to-end fleet operations at the SF hub, including uptime, readiness, and utilization Manage local vendors (maintenance, cleaning, charging, body shops) to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service Oversee hub operations, including logistics, layout, and real estate coordination Monitor and improve fleet performance using data and operational insights Ensure vehicles meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards at all times Partner closely with Customer Success and Engineering to resolve issues and improve fleet software systems Hire, manage, and develop hourly fleet agents on-site Own budgeting and cost control across fleet operations Identify opportunities to improve processes as we scale our EV and future AV programs What We’re Looking For: 3–6+ years of experience in fleet, logistics, or operations management Hands-on experience with vehicle operations (maintenance coordination, inspections, etc.) Strong vendor management and negotiation skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, startup environment with high ownership Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams Strong attention to detail and operational discipline Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Willingness to be on-site at the hub 5 days/week Compensation & Benefits: $70,000–$90,000 total compensation (depending on experience) High-growth opportunity with clear path to scale into regional or national operations leadership Opportunity to work at the forefront of EV and autonomous mobility
