Fleet Shop Manager
Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a full-time 1st shift Fleet Shop Manager to oversee fleet operations located in San Jose, CA. Additionally this Fleet Shop Manager will oversee two additional domicile shops in San Francisco and San Jose. The ideal Fleet Shop Manager will have experience in both fleet operations and hands on trailer/tractor experience.Shift: 1st l Monday- Friday Days but must be flexiblePay: $110,000-$120,000 annually (Based on experience and qualifications) + Potential annual BonusWhy work for Reyes Fleet Management?Annual potential bonus potential of 15%Paid time off + Sick time Holiday paid time offYearly performance raisesCareer advancement opportunities401K and Company paid Life InsuranceReyes Reward programHealth, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plansGreat work culture and clean facilitiesFinancial and wellness discounts and much more!!!Position ResponsibilitiesManage the in-house team of Technicians to ensure optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance while controlling costs, minimizing vehicle downtime, maintaining accurate records, and driving initiatives to enhance productivity and service levels.Oversee fleet maintenance operations, including repair quality, parts inventory control, budgeting, transactional data quality, and compliance with company, state, and federal standards, including DOT and OSHA regulationsUtilize AssetWorks to manage and track fleet assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping, maintenance scheduling, and data analysis to improve asset performance and lifespanUtilize and report on key performance metrics (KPI’s) through PowerBI dashboards, identify and provide data-driven insights to monitor facility performance and trends, and make informed decisions to optimize fleet operations and reduce expensesManage the fleet maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations by monitoring expenses, analyzing financial metrics, and implementing strategies to enhance spending efficiency and reduce overall costsLeverage extensive maintenance experience to oversee and guide all repair and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency across the fleetOther duties as assignedRequired Education And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or Technical School Certification with 8 plus years of specific experience and 3 plus years of management experience Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehiclesBenefitsAt the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
