The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's efforts to create a positive, structured, and disciplined culture. This includes working with the leadership team to develop and implement a values-integrated and achievement-oriented environment, being highly visible during school hours to ensure a strong culture, and supporting the execution of cross-school initiatives. The Dean of Students will also serve as the main contact for parents and guardians, with a focus on celebrating student achievements and addressing attendance and truancy issues. Additionally, the role involves coaching teachers in building positive student relationships, managing classroom behavior, and supporting the professional development of staff.Applicants for the Dean of Students position should have at least one year of experience in adult management or teacher coaching, with a preference for those who have two or more years of classroom teaching experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in developing student programs and a positive school culture, as well as experience in planning and leading staff professional development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extreme flexibility, a strong work ethic, and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to foster a collegial and mission-driven school environment.
