A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend coverage required with holidays as needed • Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Float required if needed across all Cone Health facilities • Minimum 2 years experience required, first time travelers accepted • BLS certification required • Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) • Epic charting system experience required • Previous charge RN experience preferred • 24 hours of orientation provided • Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients • Manage telemetry monitoring, central line blood draws, phlebotomy, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and various medical surgical procedures • Work with adults and geriatric patient populations • Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date • Required to complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation Facility: This major healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced patient care services across multiple specialties.
