Annual Schedule: This is a full-time 35 hrs/wk for a 41 wks/yr benefited position.
This position will work with families at both our Conway and Tamworth locations.
Role:
To work in collaboration with other staff to ensure children and families receive comprehensive services according to Head Start Performance Standards.
Applicant must hold or obtain within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Recruit, enroll and obtain appropriate records of children and families to ensure full enrollment and wait lists.
Perform record keeping including documentation in accordance with Tri County Head Start written plans and procedures; scheduled reports and mandated reporting in a timely accurate and confidential manner. Ensure implementation of Tri County CAP Head Start Operational plans and written policies and procedures.
Conduct home visits in accordance with Head Start Standards and provide additional home visits as social services needs arise.
Actively participate in parent or group meetings, community collaborations and affiliations in order to advocate for Head Start children and families. Assist in facilitating parent group meetings and training of officers and recruiting policy council members.
Partner with families within assigned caseloads to identify child and family needs and appropriate ways of meeting those needs through family goals and referrals. Ensure regular communication with families in order to provide needed information regarding medical, psychological, social services and program specific information.
Act as the Policy Council Liaison for the caucus area assigned.
Assist families with transportation when all other options have been exhausted and with prior supervisor approval.
Work together with the program to solicit and obtain non federal share (in-kind) funds.
Pay is based upon qualifications.
TCCAP is an EOE agency.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
