Details Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds ICU unit with a patient ratio of 1:2-3 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) Every other weekend required Floating within scope to like units may be required based on facility needs No on-call requirements Epic EMR experience is required Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Epic EMR experience required Must pass an EKG exam — no exceptions SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted First-time travelers are not preferred; consideration may be made at the manager's discretion based on years of experience Scrub color: royal blue and white Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours) RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general max of 4 days; only 1 holiday can be approved Previous employees or travelers must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity Travelers on night shift may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months before returning American Traveler Job ID P-688997.
