Maintenance Electrician

Experience Required: Minimum two years in an industrial environment. An appropriate assessment test will be required. This is Primarily a second shift position. Key Responsibilities: · Specialize in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, particularly in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), PLC ladder logic, robotics, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery. · Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment, checking for proper functioning, and identifying any issues related to PLCs, robotic systems, and CNC machines. · Obtain, inspect, and ensure the proper functioning of electrical components and spare parts from the stockroom. · Maintain detailed documentation of parts used and inspections conducted to ensure adherence to inventory control and maintenance procedures. · Follow instructions from the Supervisor for electrical maintenance tasks and complete them in a timely and accurate manner. · Conduct minor electrical repairs and adjustments to equipment. · build and repair the electrical cables, ensuring they meet required specifications. · Operate electrical testing equipment and tools safely and effectively. · Stay knowledgeable about basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with an emphasis on troubleshooting electrical components within these systems. · Assist in training other personnel in electrical maintenance and safety procedures. · Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and orderly, and that waste material is correctly disposed of and labeled. · Adhere to all ISO, TS standards, and procedures related to electrical maintenance and safety. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, which may include general maintenance tasks and participation in safety and productivity initiatives within the facility. Strong knowledge and practical skills in electrical systems, particularly in PLC, robotic, and CNC machinery. · Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. · Skilled in the use of a variety of electrical tools and testing equipment. · Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
