Senior Full-Stack Developer Mclean, VA (5 Days Onsite) – Locals onlyFull-Time OpportunityIndependent consultants onlyVirtual & In-Person Interview MandatoryJob Description:The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and Java.The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional development experience and a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.Additional skills in AWS and EKS are highly desirable.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular for front-end and Java for back-end services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with Angular and Java.Proficiency in Angular framework and its core principles.Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related technologies.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.Experience with Shell Scripting , Unix Working KnowledgeExperience with RDBMS like Oracle , Db2.Must Have Qualifications:7+ Java/J2EE, Angular, Cloud-AWS and EKS.BA is preferred in Computer Science or similar.Able to work in Unix environmentUnderstanding of scripting.CICD is preferred.
