We are proud of the roots of our past and prepared for the growth in our future.Work Location: This position will be based onsite in the Sedalia, MO location.Hours: M-F 8-5; 40 hours per week.Reports To: Marketing DirectorJob Purpose: Support position responsible for a wide variety of ongoing projects within the Marketing Department.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates marketing and promotion of the bank's products and services with the goal of increasing market share, name recognition and profitability.Develops and proof reads marketing literature, advertising or any marketing materials to be used by BTC Bank to enhance the company's presence in the market.Assists in coordination and development of department activities in advertising, promotion, sales, research, community involvement and new product introduction to support BTC Bank's brand.Assists with coordination and representation of programs and events throughout the year for BTC Bank (Customer Appreciation Days, Tailgates, BTC AYBC Fundraisers, sponsorships, parades, etc.).Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing and Community Relations department's activities.Communicate directly with media representatives, vendors, BTC Bank departments and branches and encourage trusting relationships.Assume all marketing duties in the absence of the Marketing Director.Will include some travel, working non-business hours, and some additional or weekend hours.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or three to five years of marketing experience.Three to five years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent creative skills required for promotional concepts, product development and overall bank marketing.Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team.Working Conditions:This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Requirements:This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
