He/She contributes to the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, performance, capacity tuning, and support of third-party infrastructures, applications, and appliances (i.e., transaction, collaboration, communications protocols, application delivery, virtualization, and directory services).This role is also responsible for ensuring all technology solutions—including emerging AI-enabled capabilities—are aligned with UPS IT, Information Security, and AI governance standards, supporting secure, compliant, and scalable deployments.This position executes processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, availability, and compliance posture of the systems environment.ResponsibilitiesServes as a subject matter expert for the administration, maintenance, customization, and support of workforce automation tools to increase organizational efficiencyEvaluates, designs, and reviews technology solutions to ensure alignment with approved architecture standards, business requirements, and long‑term scalabilityEnsures deployed solutions comply with UPS IT, Information Security (InfoSec), Privacy, and regulatory requirements throughout the solution lifecyclePartners with architecture, compliance, InfoSec, and governance teams to support solution reviews, approvals (e.g., SAR/SRA), and risk assessmentsMaintains accountability for compliance tracking, risk identification, and remediation activities across supported systemsSupports implementation of security controls, including access management (MFA/SSO), data protection, and system hardening standardsParticipates in the evaluation and deployment of AI-enabled technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI governance, compliance, and ethical use standardsPartners with AI governance and development teams to ensure AI solutions are properly reviewed, approved, and deployed in a secure and compliant mannerParticipates in solution testing, validation, and documentation to support operational readiness and ongoing supportSupports continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, performance optimization, availability, and secure solution deliveryQualificationsBachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline — PreferredPrior knowledge of Windows Operating SystemsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of IT and Information Security principles (e.g., access control, system hardening, compliance processes) — PreferredFamiliarity with AI technologies or AI governance/compliance considerations — PreferredExperience with low‑voltage systems (e.g., access control, video surveillance, or related infrastructure) — PreferredGenetec certification or hands‑on experience with Genetec Security Center — PreferredExperience with Honeywell ProWatch access control systems — PreferredOther CriteriaJob Grade: 20EMust be currently located in the same geographic location as the following: Atlanta, GA, Mahwah, NJ, Parsippany, NJ, Louisville, KY.Last day to apply is 06/25/2026 11:59pmPay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,000/year to $133,500/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
