SMART Physician Recruiting is seeking Anesthesia Board-certified or Board-eligible Physicians for a new and ongoing locum tenens opportunity near Lenoir, North Carolina. 40hrs split between two hospitals about 15 min from one another. This position is ideal for experienced general anesthetist doctors (BC or BE; ABA/AOBA) that are comfortable with the listed case types. It will be ongoing. SMART will pay for and process an NC license for those coming from out of state, although a fairly local physician would be preferable. Applicants must have full-time and ongoing availability to be considered.Locum Rate: $1500/day Guaranteed 40hr week plus travel and malpractice insurance with tailOvertime/Call Premium: $230/hr (OT paid after 40 worked hours) $700 weekend pager rate & $200 weekday pager rateMedical Direction: 10% own cases and 90% direction of CRNAsCase Types: general, ortho, spinal, ENT, ophthalmologic, gastro, regionals, thoracic, V-backs, podiatry, peds, oral, and plastic.Volume: 6,000 and 2,000 Annual surgical cases respectively.Care Model: 6 MDs and 13 CRNAsORs: Between 4 and 5 in both hospitalsCall Schedule: 1:5 in-house, post-call day off.
