Front Desk Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in computerised systems and data entry.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and patients, and direct them to the appropriate area.
- Answer and direct phone calls, using excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient and visitor information.
- Utilise computerised systems to update patient records, track appointments, and manage billing and insurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, both in person and over the phone.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform other administrative and receptionist duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a receptionist or front desk role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, or the ability to learn.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience with phone systems and data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
