This role is crucial in supporting the financial operations, ensuring compliance, and assisting in achieving and regaining an unmodified "clean" audit opinion.A successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge consisting of a range of Federal accounting concepts and standards, Federal procurement concepts (including the Federal Acquisition Regulations [FAR]), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Act, Accountability of Tax Dollars Act of 2002 (ATDA), Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), Government Management Reform Act (GMRA), Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), and relevant Office of Management and Budget (OMB) circulars and bulletins on financial accounting and internal controls.Make a difference. Join our team by applying today!Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end support for audit liaison, accounting transactions, financial statement reporting, analysis, and audit remediation.Confirm, plan, design, implement, and validate corrective action plans aimed to remediate identified Material WeaknessesAddress and remediate deficiencies identified in the financial statement audit, focusing on entity-level controls, accrued expense estimates, and property, plant, and equipment (PPE) management.Deliver technical expertise in PP&E (eg.
