Senior Service Technician
Trueline's client, a growing commercial service provider specializing in complex water and mechanical systems, is seeking a Senior Service Technician to join their team based out of Jacksonville, NC with regional travel. This role is ideal for a highly skilled field technician who can independently diagnose, repair, and optimize commercial systems while mentoring junior team members.What You'll Do as the Senior Service Technician:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial pool and mechanical systems in the fieldService pumps, filters, heaters, and automated chemical control systemsPerform system startups, testing, and preventative maintenanceIdentify and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical issuesRead and interpret blueprints and technical documentationComplete detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teamsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior techniciansMaintain a high level of professionalism and customer service on job sitesMust-Haves as the Senior Service Technician:5+ years of experience in mechanical service, construction, or technical field workStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independentlySolid understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing, and basic electrical componentsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel regionallyNice-to-Haves as the Senior Service Technician:2+ years of experience working with pool or aquatic systemsBackground in HVAC service, industrial maintenance, or mechanical pipingExperience mentoring or training junior techniciansFamiliarity with automated control systems or water treatment processesOur Client Offers:Hourly pay ranging from $28 to $45 based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany vehicle providedPer diem for travel assignments (typically around $160 per week)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOngoing technical and manufacturer trainingOpportunity to work on complex commercial systems, not residential serviceTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
