Service Technician

Trueline's client, a growing provider of commercial pool and mechanical system services, is seeking a Junior Service Technician to join their team based out of Jacksonville, NC with regional travel. This is a hands-on role supporting maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial pool systems, offering strong training and a clear path to advancement.What You'll Do as the Junior Service Technician:Assist senior technicians with servicing and maintaining commercial pool systemsPerform routine preventative maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical and plumbing equipmentSupport troubleshooting efforts and learn diagnostic techniquesComplete pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical checks, and inspectionsSafely operate hand and power tools on job sitesDocument service work and communicate updates to supervisorsInteract professionally with customers on-siteMust-Haves as the Junior Service Technician:2+ years of experience in construction, mechanical, or technical workStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled tradeBasic understanding of plumbing or mechanical systemsReliable, hardworking, and able to follow directionGood communication skills and team-oriented mindsetAbility to travel regionally as neededNice-to-Haves as the Junior Service Technician:Prior experience with pool systems or water treatmentBackground in HVAC, plumbing, or general construction tradesFamiliarity with preventative maintenance practicesOur Client Offers:Hourly pay ranging from $18 to $30 based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany vehicle where applicablePer diem for travel assignmentsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysStructured training and clear advancement path to Senior TechnicianTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
