Position Title: Senior Project ManagerPosition Status: 12-month contract with rolling extensionsSchedule: HYBRIDOverview: Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA ResponsibilitiesSeeking a senior level Project Manager (PM) to lead the implementation of its SVRS, a new statewide voter registration and election management system. The Project Manager will perform all tasks and duties related to the day-to-day project management function in accordance with the PMI Program Management Standard and in alignment with existing processes to ensure the successful implementation of the SVRS. This is a high-risk project. RequirementsCompletion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth project of $5M or more, or completion of a non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record. Experience with Commonwealth Project Management (CPM) methodologies in large-scale projects (greater than $10M and medium to high complexity). Active PMP or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification. Documented risk management experience. Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study of equivalent work experience. Review of PM qualification consistent with the VITA PMQR and CIO overview. Familiarization with the Commonwealth’s Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool, Planview Enterprise One. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
