Senior Accountant | Transport & Warehouse DivisionLocation: Hybrid (M-TH onsite, Friday Remote) - Chesterton, IN 46304 We are hiring a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple business units. The role will work closely with Operations Accounting and support various finance projects.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle fixed asset accounting including capitalization & depreciationPerform month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsManage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entitiesReview financial performance, variance analysis, and forecasting supportPrepare reports and support cash management initiativesAssist external auditors with financial data and reportingSupport and guide offshore accounting team membersWork on ad hoc finance and accounting projectsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field4–6 years of general accounting experienceStrong experience with fixed assets and intercompany reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs & Pivot TablesExperience handling multiple entities/accounts/locationsERP experience required, Oracle Fusion preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and pay close attention to detail
