Senior Accountant | Hybrid | Chesterton, INWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a long-term opportunity supporting a growing Transport & Warehouse division in Chesterton, Indiana.This organization is a global leader in multimodal logistics and supply chain solutions, supporting customers across transportation, warehousing, intermodal, and managed services. With operations across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, the company is known for delivering innovative logistics solutions, operational excellence, and a collaborative team environment focused on long-term growth and stability.Location: Chesterton, INSchedule: Monday–Friday | Hybrid Schedule (Remote Fridays)Pay Rate: $75,000-$83,000 yearlyContract-to-Hire: Approximately 6 months with strong potential for permanent conversionKey responsibilities include:• Managing fixed asset accounting, capitalization, and depreciation• Performing intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities• Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations• Assisting with forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting• Partnering with operations accounting teams and external auditors• Providing support and guidance to offshore accounting staffQualified candidates should have:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance• 4–6 years of general accounting experience• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis• Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations• ERP experience, preferably Oracle Fusion• Strong professionalism, attention to detail, and a stable work historyInterview process includes a video interview followed by an onsite interview.Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and professional reference verification.
