Job Title IT Director - Cash In Transit - North America Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled IT Director with strong expertise in supply chain management, route planning, and optimization systems to oversee our Cash In Transit (CIT) operations across North America, specifically in the US. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and secure scheduling, routing, and processing of orders related to the movement of currency, valuables, and other assets. The ideal candidate will not only lead CIT-related IT initiatives but will also quickly become the subject matter expert in order processing, route planning and formulation, route scheduling and optimization, money processing, branch money handling operations, and truck route optimization. This position requires maintaining and managing customer service levels at the highest standard, ensuring that all processes are optimized and secure. Key Responsibilities: Lead IT Strategy: Develop and execute the IT strategy for North American CIT operations, focusing on order scheduling, route planning, and optimization to ensure the safe and timely transportation of cash and valuables. System Implementation: Oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of CIT-related IT systems, including route planning and optimization software, scheduling tools, and money processing platforms. Subject Matter Expertise: Quickly come up to speed as the subject matter expert in order processing, route planning and formulation, route scheduling and optimization, branch money handling, and truck route optimization. Process Improvement: Work closely with operations and logistics teams to identify inefficiencies and implement system enhancements that improve CIT route efficiency, scheduling accuracy, and overall supply chain performance. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and reporting to continuously optimize routes, reduce fuel and labor costs, and ensure regulatory compliance in CIT operations. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all systems and processes are designed to uphold the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure system reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across operations, finance, compliance, and security to ensure that IT systems support business requirements and security standards. Project Leadership: Lead IT projects related to CIT, including system upgrades, process automation, and new software rollouts, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, with a focus on supply chain management, route planning, and optimization systems. Proven expertise in implementing and managing route optimization software, order scheduling systems, and money processing platforms. Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, particularly in a CIT or transportation environment. Experience with route planning and optimization systems such as Roadnet, Llamasoft, Maven, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience in project management, system integrations, and process improvements. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Familiarity with CIT industry standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
