Office Coordinator

This position is ideal for someone who finds purpose in creating order, takes pride in beautiful and functional spaces, and enjoys supporting a creative, mission-driven team.What You'll Do:Studio Operations & Administrative Support* Coordinate incoming and outgoing packages, shipping, and courier services with efficiency and care.Studio Experience & Hospitality* Maintain a welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.* Maintain the visual and functional quality of reception areas, conference rooms, kitchens, and shared spaces.* Oversee kitchen organization, ensuring spaces are clean, stocked, and aligned with the studio's standards of excellence.* Empty the dishwashers and maintain the refrigerators clean and organized.* Help manage and maintain the studio's working spaces so they remain organized and tidy.Events, Engagement & Culture* Coordinate internal meetings, studio events, and social gatherings that foster collaboration and community.* Organize Lunch & Learns with industry partners.* Assist with event planning and hosting.Office Logistics & Coordination* Manage ordering of office supplies, groceries, and studio essentials with attention to quality and sustainability.* Process expense reimbursements.* Serve as a liaison to building management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.What You BringA passion for organization and clean spaces.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Exceptional attention to detail and time management.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The ability to take initiative, work independently, and anticipate needs.A flexible, service-oriented approach with a positive, professional presence.A genuine interest in supporting a design-driven, purpose-led practice.Why This Role MattersAt Perkins&Will, every detail contributes to a larger vision. At the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position in DC is between $63,000 and $70,000.
