How you’ll make an impact in this role Strategic Unit Leadership: Orchestrates shift operations and independent clinical judgment to ensure the delivery of high-quality, population-appropriate care across specialized nursing units. Performance & Resource Management: Directs, educates, and monitors nursing staff while optimizing productivity standards and justifying variances to maintain operational excellence. Dynamic Care Coordination: Expertly manages daily patient assignments and physician dynamics, prioritizing resource allocation and material availability for seamless unit flow. Conflict Resolution & Staff Development: Proactively manages patient care complaints and provides critical input into the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of the clinical team. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
