This role offers comprehensive coverage for both inpatient and outpatient services, with an emphasis on neonatal ICU cases. The assignment will begin ASAP and continue through early January, with flexible scheduling and weekend call responsibilities.Position Details: Profession: Pediatric GastroenterologistCoverage Dates: ASAP - January 7, 2025Shift Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus callPractice Setting: Inpatient and OutpatientEMR System: EpicResponsibilities: Provide full inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology services, focusing on neonatal ICU casesManage daily clinic operations during the week, 8:30 AM - 5 PMCover night call during weekdays and 24-hour call over weekends, ensuring continuous support for urgent gastroenterology needs.Coordinate patient care, including diagnosing and treating complex gastrointestinal issues in pediatric patients.Work alongside hospital teams to manage cases related to pediatric GI disorders, including preoperative and postoperative care as necessary.Schedule: Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM.Weekend Call: 24-hour call starting from Friday evening through Monday morning.The locum tenens physician will be on-call for both urgent outpatient and inpatient consults.Required Qualifications: Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology Required.Licensed in WA or eligible for licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Required.Familiarity with Epic EMR system Preferred.Comfortable handling Neonatal ICU cases.Additional Information: No holiday coverage required.
