Maintenance Technician - Third Shift

Job DescriptionPosition Objective: Perform electrical/mechanical repairs, installation, or preventive maintenance on presses and other production equipment to achieve maximum efficiency.Essential FunctionsPerform electrical/mechanical repairs for equipment on presses or as established by schedule, priority, or the Maintenance Supervisor. Trouble-shoot system failures on all assigned equipment. Demonstrate the ability to do repairs on presses and other equipment. Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance. Resolve problems through disassembly and reassembly, paying close attention to detail. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Perform other duties as directed or assigned.QualificationsMandatory2 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinesFamiliarity with press mechanics and auxiliary equipmentKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and lubricationsAbility to lift 55 lbs.Maintains a clean and orderly work environmentPreferredDemonstrates ability to work with PLC, Automation equipmentWorking knowledge of servo motors and controlsUnderstand relay logic and electrical schematicsProblem solving skillsToolroom equipment maintenance and repairITW is an equal opportunity employer.
