About the CompanyWe are looking for a self-motivated sales rep to join our highly successful team in the Bay Area market. Alliance Gator is the industry leader in the hardscape accessories market with worldwide distribution of its products. Our partners have come to depend on our superior quality products, hands-on service, and industry certified training. We are looking for self-motivated sales reps to join our highly successful team. Alliance is based in Montreal, Canada.About the RoleHelp to continue the growth of sales and training throughout the respective market with existing and new customers.ResponsibilitiesService and support existing customer base (national partners, dealers and contractors)Expand and grow product sales within existing customer baseCultivate new customers and end usersSupport aggressive plan to promote Alliance products in the marketPresent/facilitate industry certified training presentationsConduct hands-on product demonstrations in classroom and job site settingsQualifications5 years building products sales experience or equivalent4-year degree or equivalent background in the construction or hardscape industryRequired SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated public speaking skills to audiences of 25-35+ attendeesStrong time management, organization and proper decision-making skills50% travel within territory and occasionally to national trade shows and corporate meetingsBi-lingual English-Spanish a mustMust be proficient with computer and CRM softwareMust have passport and able to travel to CanadaMust own reliable vehicle for travel and transport product samples (company has vehicle allowance)Must have valid driver's license, registration and proof of insuranceOccasional long-distance travel by car or air may be necessary; overnight travel 1-2 nights per weekPhysical RequirementsMust be physically and mentally able to work 40+ hours per week, Monday through FridayMust be able to lift/move and use 50 lbs of samplesMust be able to work on hardscape job sites and demonstrate proper use of products; provide technical guidance and hands-on support to end-usersMust reside in Bay AreaPay range and compensation packageBase salary of $85,000 plus $1,100 monthly car allowance; benefits include health, dental, and 401K
