This role ensures that both properties maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team performance. The Manager leads a team of housekeeping and laundry staff, manages departmental resources and inventory, and works closely with property leadership to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience. We support one another across departments and properties, communicate openly, and celebrate shared wins.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team ManagementRecruit, hire, train, and develop housekeeping and laundry staff across both propertiesSchedule and supervise team members to ensure adequate coverage at all timesConduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackFoster a positive, respectful, and productive work environmentAddress employee concerns and coordinate with HR on personnel mattersOperations and Quality StandardsEnsure all guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and amenities are cleaned and maintained to brand and property standardsOversee the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring efficient washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and terry. Conduct daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and laudry to verify quality and consistencyDevelop and maintain housekeeping and laundry procedures, checklists, and standard operating protocolsRespond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to housekeepingCoordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams on room readiness and special requestsInventory and Budget ManagementManage departmental supply inventory including linens, terry, guest amenities, and cleaning productsOversee the purchasing and ordering of all laundry and housekeeping supplies, keeping stock at optimal par levels. Monitor and control departmental expenses in alignment with budget targetsSource and maintain vendor relationships for supplies, and contracted servicesTrack and report on key metrics including labor hours, supply usage, and guest satisfaction scoresCompliance and SafetyEnsure the team adheres to all safety, sanitation, and infection control standardsMaintain compliance with OSHA regulations and property-specific safety protocolsEnsure proper handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and materialsKeep accurate records related to inspections, incidents, and training completionsQualificationsRequiredMinimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in hotel housekeeping or a related hospitality environmentDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse teamStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysPhysical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periodsPreferredExperience managing housekeeping and laundry operations across multiple propertiesFamiliarity with commercial laundry equipment, chemicals,and was cyclesFamiliarity with Hilton brand standards and systemsProficiency with property management software (PMS)What We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and holiday payHotel discounts through Hilton Team Member travel programOpportunities for professional development and advancementA workplace culture built on Fun, Ownership, Respect, and Teamwork
