AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic pediatric hospitalists with a focus and interest in newborn care to join our team at the new AdventHealth Winter Garden, located in Winter Garden, Florida (west of Orlando).
Responsibilities
Schedule would consist of both restricted (in hospital) and unrestricted 24‑hour call (from home) resulting in approximately 12 shifts per month.
Well newborn care admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
High risk delivery attendance and newborn stabilization.
Newborn coordination of transfers to higher level of care as indicated.
ED pediatric consults.
Pediatric patient care within Pediatric Observation Unit.
Qualifications
Board Certification/Eligible American Board of Pediatrics.

Hospital Description
AdventHealth Winter Garden, part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 as a state‑of‑the‑art emergency facility. The new inpatient tower opened May 2022 and provides 80 private rooms and space for new services, including orthopedics, advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general and robotic surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
