Looking for a Principal Developer in Dallas, TX, to join a dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is great for someone passionate about hands-on development, building enterprise-grade web services, and leading innovative tech solutions.Contract to Hire Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office) – Dallas TXWhat You’ll Be DoingLead large-scale application development, crafting cloud-native microservices with best-in-class tech.Take charge of portfolios in supply, sales, and customer service, with a hands-on approach.Deliver powerful solutions on the cloud (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP also welcome).Collaborate across teams, mentor junior developers, and drive high standards in code quality.Oversee third-party dev teams to ensure cohesive and successful project outcomes.Must-Have SkillsJava J2EE, React Native, AWS, Spring Boot, Microservices – Core skills for creating and leading in a tech-driven environment.Expertise in Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and event-driven solutions (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.Nice-to-Have SkillsFamiliarity with GraphQL for efficient, responsive APIs.Ideal CandidateBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years in application development.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and directing offshore development efforts.Strong Agile skills and experience with Behavior-Driven Design (BDD).Excellent communicator who bridges technical and non-technical gaps effortlessly.Interview Process:3-4 rounds, including technical coding scenarios, panel interviews (team fit and building skills), and leadership discussions.If interested, please send me your updated resume.
