Medical Center is seeking a Digestive Health Physician Join 5 other employed GI?s and 3 NPs Full time position ? Monday thru Friday 36 Patient Contact Hours ? 4 Admin Hours/week 1:4 Call (will go to 1:5) ? Consult Only Service - No Admissions Consults and rounding a done by the physician on call. 75/25 split on lab/endoscopy vs clinic 11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic Each physician has their own designated RN for support 5000+ cases per year in the endoscopy area ? 500 inpatient/4500 outpatient 150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and volume continues to grow Candidates can do general GI practice, but there is also demand for ERCP and EUS procedures/advanced endoscopy Currently 4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area) Scopes ? Olympus 180 and 190 series (HD scopes) C-Arm is available in the department Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support - All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation Sign-on Bonus Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match.
