We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About The RoleAs a Supervisory Lead Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer you will serve as technical lead of large and/or complex safety analysis projects.You will report to the Engineering Manager of Loss of Coolant Accident Safety Analysis (LOCA) and be located at Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position is Hybrid; you will work a mix of on-site and remote days, typically within the same week.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Tech Lead for large and/or complex technical projectsServe as overall Tech Lead for a category of large engineering projectsLead teams internallySupport emergent issues; act as point of contact; customer interfaceServe as Technical Specialist for one or more sub-disciplinesServe as Subject Matter Expert in a product areaDevelop and lead technical training in critical product areasIdentify and lead technical improvement and development initiativesWork with manager and supervisory engineer on promotions, personnel development, skill advancements and team sizingRepresent Westinghouse in regulatory and industry meetingsWork with supervisory engineer on proposal developmentCoordinate cross-departmental engineering activities/effortsProvide input to performance reviewsIdentify and solicit improvements for product area, lead improvement initiativesQualificationsMinimum 10+ years of applicable Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis experienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical)Why Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
