In this role, you will be responsible for theprecise installation, setup, and alignment of molds used in plasticsinjection molding. Your expertise will ensure that molds are installedefficiently and accurately, supporting high-quality production output.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advancedmachinery and contribute to the seamless operation of our manufacturingfacilities. **Duties** - Know, understand, and follow the writtenprocedures that govern the injection molding process. - Install, align,and secure molds into various plastics processing machines includinginjection molding presses, blow molding machines, and extrusionequipment. - Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precisionmeasuring instruments to verify mold dimensions and alignment. - Conductquality inspections on molds and finished products to ensure adherenceto specifications and standards. - Handle materials safely usingforklifts and materials handling equipment to transport molds andcomponents within the production area. - Perform routine maintenance,troubleshooting, and adjustments on molds and related equipment tooptimize performance. - Follow lean manufacturing principles tostreamline installation processes and reduce waste while maintainingsafety standards. - Maintain records as required by the procedure. -Additional duties as needed. **Qualifications** - Proven mechanicalknowledge with experience in plastics injection molding. - Familiaritywith programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturingautomation systems. - Ability to operate forklifts safely; forkliftcertification is preferred. - Experience with machining tools such aspress brake machines, CNC lathes, and other fabrication equipment. -Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques using calipers,micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. - Basic mathskills for measurements and calculations related to mold setup andadjustments. - Prior experience in manufacturing or plastics processingenvironments is highly desirable.
