Set Up Technician

Description** This position is responsible for all manufacturingprocess set ups and the setting of machine controls. This includes thepreparing of the machine setting up injection molds, temperature controlsystems and auxiliary equipment supporting the manufacturing process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** - Installs molds as per the production schedule. -Sets up mold and ancillary equipment as required per the set up sheet. -Verifies and documents all production processes. - Works with ProcessTechnician to maintain high quality standards during production runs. -Makes proper adjustments to molding process to ensure quality standardsare met. - Works with Maintenance Dept. to maintain productionequipment. - Ensures that all safety procedures are followed - Ensuresthat all equipment safeties are not altered or defeated. - Maintain aclean and safe work environment. - Other duties as assignedQualifications - Education:** High School Degree required andtechnical training. **- Experience:** Knowledge of Manufacturing areasAnd Equipment Required. 2-3 Years Plastic Injection Molding Experiencepreferred - Must have good communication skills - Must have legiblewriting - Requires the training and understanding of the productionpaperwork and all supporting documentation. - Must be able to accuratelyfill out paperwork as required - Has basic knowledge of InjectionMolding Machine controls and can input approved set-ups into themachines. - Can operate fork truck, cranes and lifting equipment formold set-ups. - Has basic computer skills and can be trained on our MRPsystem. - Can perform daily job functions from both written and verbalinstructions. - Can perform daily job functions in a clean roomenvironment. - Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. - Must have goodvision - Must have manual dexterity - Must be able to sit or stand forlong periods of time - Repetitive motions are required - Must be able tomove molds and 1100 lb. gaylords with a pallet jack - Requires frequentbending, squatting, and twisting motions - Must be able to climb stepladders - Must be able to climb up and down stairs - Must be availablefor overtime as needed **- Environment:** Noise level is uncontrolled(Ear plugs are provided.) - Perform job duties in accordance to ISO13485/9001 including ISO audits
