Role Description We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, with opportunities to work at customer sites or at our shoo with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include designing and developing mechanical components and systems, creating detailed product designs, conducting analysis and testing, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create accurate models and drawings. The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensure compliance with technical specifications, and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proficiency in Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering principlesExperience with Product Design and the ability to develop functional, innovative solutionsExpertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software and solidworks.Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplinePrevious experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
