Job Title: Contract Data AnalystLocation: Boston, MA 02110Duration: 03+ MonthsM-F, hybrid, onsite twice a monthSummary :Temporary/Contract Data AnalystThe client is seeking a temporary/contract Data Analyst to support data-driven reporting and analysis efforts. This role will assist in responding to data calls, developing dashboards and visualizations, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.The ideal candidate has a background in mathematics, data science, data analytics, computer science, actuarial or a related field, and brings a well-rounded academic or professional experience that extends beyond technical coursework. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret datasets to support internal and external reporting needsDevelop dashboards or data visualizations for reports and presentationsAssist with data calls, including data collection, validation, and organizationCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesAssist in drafting various reports for both internal and external audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Background in mathematics, data science, data analytics, computer science, actuarial or similarExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)Strong writing and communication skillsA writing sample will be required as part of the application process. Prior experience in insurance is preferred but not required.
