Job DescriptionJob TitleSenior Backend Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, Cloud)Overview / SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of applications, including APIs, databases, and business logic services. The role involves building scalable backend systems using modern frameworks and deploying applications across cloud or on-prem environments.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to understand use cases and requirementsDesign, develop, and deliver backend solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologiesFollow architecture guidelines to ensure a unified and consistent development approachDevelop and maintain backend applications such as APIs and microservices using Java and related technologiesCollaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architectsManage application deployment on cloud or on-prem environments, including monitoring, security, and disaster recoveryWork with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and retrievalImprove engineering practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deliveryOptimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliabilityImplement security practices including encryption and data protectionRequired QualificationsStrong experience in Java (Java 11/17+)Experience building backend applications, APIs, and microservicesExperience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB6+ years of IT experience4+ years of development experienceBachelor’s Degree requiredWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
