The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of construction project site management in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with proven leadership abilities related to industrial, manufacturing facilities construction projects. This role offers a long-term career opportunity as a regional on-site construction superintendent/site manager leading complex construction projects while working with a collaborative team of construction professionalsKey Responsibilities:Oversee MEP-related construction project management activities, system installation, testing, and commissioning processesLead safety initiatives and maintain quality control measuresManage subcontractor relationships and coordinate with project stakeholdersReview shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentationDevelop and maintain project schedulesGuide field personnel and foster professional developmentEnsure regulatory compliance and code adherenceCoordinate system startups and final commissioningInterface with design teams and project managementRequired Experience:5+ years MEP Superintendent experience10+ years construction site manager/superintendent experience with private, manufacturing facility or vertical, industrial construction projectsComprehensive knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)Experience with regional travel to construction project sites and extended temporary living arrangements near the client construction project siteExperience with 10 days-on/4 days-off or similar work schedulesStrong background in construction safety protocolsProven track record of successful project deliveryExperience with building automation systems and commissioning proceduresTechnical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamKnowledge of VDC softwareExperience with Primavera P6 preferredUnderstanding of lean construction principlesPersonal Qualities:Strong communication and leadership abilitiesDetail-oriented and organizedAdaptable team playerProblem-solving mindsetCommitment to excellenceEducation:* Bachelor's degree in related field preferred* Industry certifications valuedWe offer competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative work environment.Join our team and contribute to building tomorrow's infrastructure today.This is a full-time, salaried position with growth potential within our organization.#LI-BH1At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
