Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Specialized United States Infrastructure Operations organization is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead) to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Seattle, WA; or Daytona Beach, FL.The Infrastructure team is seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure professional to help design, build, and sustain the foundational cloud environment supporting critical program needs. In this role, the selected candidate will help establish and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure environments in Microsoft Azure to enable enterprise applications, software toolchains, and digital engineering workloads.As both an individual contributor and technical leader, this position will work across network, computer, storage, identity, security, and automation domains to deliver repeatable cloud infrastructure patterns and operational excellence.This role is focused on infrastructure operations, sustainment, automation, and reliability, rather than application software development.Position Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity integration, and supporting servicesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and BashImplement cloud policies to enforce security, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage user accessBuild repeatable landing zones and cloud infrastructure patterns that support multiple application teams and enterprise servicesSupport environment standup, expansion, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery planningImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to maintain infrastructure health and reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to connectivity, performance, availability, and integrationSupport cloud migration planning by preparing foundational infrastructure services and shared dependenciesCollaborate with architecture, networking, platform, and application teams to align infrastructure designs with program requirementsDocument infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and support modelsProvide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineersSupport operational readiness, change management, and configuration control processesParticipate in capacity planning and high availability design effortsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)3+ years of experience in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Management3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and services with Azure or Amazon Web Services3+ years of experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform3+ years of experience writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systemPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fieldCurrent certifications in Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions ArchitectExperience with Azure networking, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and hybrid connectivityExperience supporting regulated or mission-critical environmentsExperience with Azure policy, governance, subscription management, and resource organizationExperience with high availability and resilience engineeringExperience with cost optimization and cloud resource governanceConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
