Partners cross-functionally to resolve process issues, manage documentation and projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor the results of operations for the purpose of improving efficiency, Quality and Safety.Design fixtures to ensure that the product meets both Quality and Safety standards.Analyze Production and QEHS data to understand areas of concern and present this data to Leadership.Collaborate with Leadership to correct process issues.Manage and modify the Plant Layout in CAD/SolidWorks (facility design).Collaborate with all departments to develop production standards through time studies and Gage Reproducibility and Repeatability (GR&R)Create/Monitor/Maintain the operation routing times on the Traveler/Work Order (generate process documentation).Project Management related to responsibilities (collaboration and Gantt charts)Participate in Lean Events with future Facilitation opportunitiesPoint of Contact for the processing of Continual Improvement Requests (tracking and trending)Participate in Risk Assessments (JSAs)Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R)Drawing interpretation. Supervisory Responsibilities:No supervisory duties Position RequirementsEducation and/or Experience: BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering, required or 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment Computer Skills:Microsoft Office Suite including ExcelAbility to acquire working knowledge of ERP Business System (M3)CADSolidWorksSharePoint preferredPowerBI preferred Other Skills and Abilities: Experience with ISO 9001 preferredExperience with Root Cause Analysis preferredPresentation skills preferred Physical Demands:The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
