Oracle Fusion Financials and Costing Consultant

Job Description: Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant with implementation experience in Oracle ERP Cloud with most of the following applications: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Expenses, Fixed assets (preferred), Costing (preferred), and Projects (preferred). Outside of Oracle specific background and experience, this candidate must have typical strong consulting background. This means process design, (i.e., Chart of Accounts design / redesign), requirements gathering, functional training and training collateral development, task plan maintenance, functional conversion documentation assistance, etc. Responsibilities: Consultant will be a product expert in Oracle Cloud ERP core financial modules (GL, AR, CA, and FA). Oracle Cloud Financials implementation experience. Cloud ERP best practice implementation, Chart of Accounts Design, Legal Entity Structures, Financial Reporting, Consolidations/ Eliminations and Process Redesign. Expertise in Oracle Cloud application design, development, integration, testing and deployment, and Oracle application technical architecture. Expertise in Cloud ERP best practices, Chart of Accounts Design, Legal Entity Structures, Financial Reporting, Consolidations / Eliminations and Process Redesign. Fusion Cost Management Experience, product costing for manufacturing and inventory, featuring multiple cost books, real-time visibility, flexible costing methods (Standard, Average, Actual), detailed analysis (material, overhead, labor), streamlining project cost processing, and integration across ERP modules like Procurement, Inventory, and Project Management, enabling accurate valuation, variance reporting, and cost control. Automated Cost Processing: Automatically costs inventory, WIP, and purchasing transactions, keeping costs current and accurate. Flexible Cost Setup: Supports multiple cost elements (material, resource, overhead) and unlimited subelements for detailed analysis, along with various costing methods like standard and average costing. Comprehensive Costing: Handles full absorption costing, supports activity-based costing, and offers extensive simulation, copying, and editing for cost scenarios. Deep Integration: Seamlessly connects with Oracle Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Time & Labor, and Assets for unified financial management. Excellent team lead skills including ability to gather and document requirements, provide expertise to analyze client business requirements and suggest delivered/custom solutions to meet these requirements. Experience working as the finance lead and proven ability of leading global finance design sessions. Ability to work with the functional/technical team members to document requirements, create functional designs and to provide developers with functional support. Ability to scope and manage complex projects spanning multiple products and IT solutions. Prepare documentation (solution design documents, configuration workbooks). Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud. Ability to work with the functional/technical team members to document requirements, create functional designs and to provide developers with support. Provide accurate estimate of 'time to complete' to PMs. Requirements: Experience with end-to-end cloud finance projects. 3+ years end to end Oracle Cloud ERP implementations where you led the team (functional leads, IT leads, etc.) in the gathering of business requirements, performing gap analysis, designing solutions, completing systems configuration, preparing, and executing system training and testing. 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion. 5+ years of broad finance experience is desired. 4+ years of Project Management experience. Strong technical aptitude understanding modern applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build rapport. Ability to travel as needed onsite or deliver solutions remotely (estimated travel 25%) Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with all levels of executives. Oracle Cloud Certification(s) a plus, but not required. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $127,000.00 - $180,995.00 per year Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Work Location: In person
