Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Fredericksburg, VAPosition Type: Full-Time | On-Site | W-2 EmployeeOverviewHealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to elementary students in a collaborative, school-based environment. As a leader in pediatric therapy, we provide a purpose-driven environment where your skills and compassion truly make a difference.The Speech-Language Pathologist will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, support staff, and valuate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goalsConduct speech and language assessments and maintain accurate documentationParticipate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staffMonitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as neededProvide recommendations and strategies to support communication development in the classroomMaintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines for therapy servicesPhysical Responsibilies:Use of proper body mechanics and techniques for bearing weight.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.Walk through the department, office, and other locations as necessary.Lift objects weighing 50-100 pounds or more.Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, and reach when performing daily work.Ability to assist and perform with patient transfers, (including but not limited to: stand pivot, two- person, sliding board, Hoyer lift, non-weight bearing) safely and effectively with or without mechanical devices.• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.• Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.• Must hold a current license in the state of practice or a valid type 10 or be eligible for licensure through completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional developmentHealthPRO Heritage and its subsidiaries provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
