Job DescriptionModern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiation TherapistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 06/29/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Opportunity\n\nPosition: Radiation Therapist\n\nShift Details\nShift Type: Day 5x8-Hour\nOperating Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM\nSchedule: Monday through Friday (No weekends)\n\nJob Requirements\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.\nCurrent licensure as a radiation therapist in Ohio.\nARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology is required.\nBLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.\nExperience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA version 15 is essential.\nKnowledge of Vision RT is highly preferred, but not mandatory.\n\n\nProfessional Skills and Experience\n\nExperience in adult acute care and outpatient settings.\nFamiliarity with treatment modalities, including:\n\nExternal Beam Therapy\nIntensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT)\nStereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)\nProstate Cancer treatment with Seeds/Fiducials\nRespiratory Gating techniques\nStereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)\nBenign Brain Tumors treatment\nHeterotopic Bone treatments\nProphylactic Treatments\n \n \nExperience in patient education and family teaching.\nKnowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions.\nExperience in treatment planning systems, specifically Eclipse (Varian) and record & verify systems (Varis-Vision/ARIA).\n\n\nPatient Care and Environment\nPatient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics\nDaily Census: 50-60 patients\nFacility Type: Outpatient clinic with 2 Varian TrueBeam systems and 1 CT simulator.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nExpected orientation hours: 40 hours.\nPatient ratios: Days - 1:2; Nights - 1:2.\nFloat required.\nInterdisciplinary support available, including interpretation services.\nPrimarily treating breast and prostate cancers, with some GYN and metastatic disease cases.\nDress Code: Scrubs (black pants, any top).\n\n\nLocation\nCity: Columbus, OHModern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #36740661.
