Business Analyst
Job Title: Business Analyst (C. Advanced) – Demand AnalystLocation: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite – Monday to Friday)Job SummaryThe Demand Analyst will act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to support technology proposal intake, business analysis, governance, and project initiation activities. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to gather high-level business requirements, develop business cases, document processes, and support proposal lifecycle management within ServiceNow.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business analysis, process modeling, stakeholder communication, proposal management, ROI/TCO analysis, and translating business needs into technical requirements. Experience with ServiceNow, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office tools is required.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate intake meetings with business stakeholders and document technology proposals.Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and process improvements.Develop business cases including ROI/TCO analysis, cost-benefit assessments, risk summaries, and project estimates.Categorize and prioritize proposals based on business impact, urgency, complexity, and strategic alignment.Create process flow diagrams, context diagrams, and functional documentation using Visio.Coordinate with technical teams, business users, and leadership to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.Maintain proposal documentation and lifecycle tracking within ServiceNow or similar portfolio management tools.Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and governance documentation.Conduct impact analysis and assist with feasibility assessments and solution recommendations.Support collaboration activities using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support modernization initiatives.Assist with cybersecurity assessment coordination and governance approvals.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communication, or related field.Minimum 3+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements documentation.Strong experience with:ServiceNow or similar portfolio management toolsProcess mapping/modeling using VisioBusiness case development and ROI/TCO analysisStakeholder management and workshop facilitationMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)SharePoint and Microsoft TeamsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExposure to Power BI reporting and dashboards.Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, or ITIL preferred.Experience working within government or enterprise IT environments preferred.Required SkillsBusiness Analysis & Requirements GatheringProcess Modeling & DocumentationProposal Intake & GovernanceROI/TCO & Cost-Benefit AnalysisStakeholder CommunicationServiceNowVisioSharePoint & TeamsMicrosoft Office SuiteProblem Solving & Analytical SkillsExecutive Reporting & Presentation Skills
