Gotion is currently looking for a Senior HR Operations Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This role focuses heavily on payroll administration, HR systems, and operational execution, and partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, and external HRIS vendors.This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Employee LifecycleManage end-to-end HR operational processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, and personnel records maintenance.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of HRIS data, employee files, and internal trackers.Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR operations, payroll, and benefits.Payroll & Benefits AdministrationOwn or support bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.Partner with team members and external payroll vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies, audits, and reporting needs.Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications.Compliance & Process ImprovementEnsure HR operations comply with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local labor regulations.Support internal audits, reporting, and documentation requirements.Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.Cross-functional & Global CollaborationPartner with HR leadership on operational execution of compensation changes, bonuses, and policy updates.Collaborate with global HR teams as needed to support cross-border or bilingual employee populations.Provide operational support for special HR projects and peak workload periods.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a related role.Hands-on payroll experience (U.S. payroll required; multi-state experience strongly preferred)Strong knowledge of HR operational processes and employee lifecycle managementHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience working with TriNet and payroll systems a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting a fast-growing or international organizationFamiliarity with benefits administration and vendor managementExperience partnering closely with Finance and external service providersBilingual in Mandarin Chinese and EnglishWhy Join GotionAt Gotion, you'll have the opportunity to help build and scale HR operations within a fast-growing global energy technology company at a pivotal stage of its North America expansion.
