Details Trauma ICU unit in a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) Epic EMR experience preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred), and TNCC (preferred) Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required Trauma ICU experience required Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Travel pairs or groups will not be considered Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-690045.
