This role involves processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, reconciling statements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReview, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.Verify invoice accuracy, terms, discounts, and approvals before processing.Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor obligations via check, ACH, or auto drafts.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepanciesMaintain accounts payable records and filesAssist with month-end closing and audit preparationCommunicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues, returns, credits, or payment issues.Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and proceduresThe job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
